²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø rising stars reach final of prestigious Business Challenge
Undergraduate (UG) students from the Queen Margaret Business School have made it to the final of the world’s leading competition for developing employability & enterprise skills in students.
For the first time, three ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø teams entered the Universities Business Challenge (UBC), and out of more than 100 teams that took part in the first stage, two groups of ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø students secured their spots in the final following a spirited semi-final in London last week.
The Grand Final will be taking place later in March at the University of St Andrews – the home of last year’s winning team – where the top ten teams from universities across the UK will go to head-to-head for the trophy.
The final will be hosted and facilitated as a rich immersive experience by the UBC team with support from graduate employers, public and third sector speakers.
The Universities Business Challenge is a simulation-based inter-university competition designed to develop in students the tools required for career success, such as analytical and communication skills, and customer awareness.
"Our UG students entered the competition this year for the first time with two of our teams securing a spot in the final – it's a true testament to the hard work and ingenuity of our students at ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø. I can’t wait to find out how they fare in the final and hopefully we will be able to retain the crown in Scotland! We wish them the very best of luck."
