I have had a long and varied career in Healthcare, starting off in Ninewells Hospital in Dundee as a trainee Pharmacy Technician. I have worked in many different NHS organisations, in many different roles - in clinical pharmacy, robotics and automation, and operational management.
In April 2019, I started my paramedic education at the University of Sunderland where I achieved a First Class Honours degree in Paramedic Practice and Out of Hospital Care. Upon graduation, I moved to Edinburgh where I worked as a paramedic for the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS).
I joined the lecturing team at 草莓社区 in August 2024 as I am passionate about educating the future paramedic workforce. I still work for SAS on a bank contract. This allows me to keep skills up to date and put my lecturing into practice.

I am interested in clinical and non-clinical leadership in paramedic practice and the development of a these non-technical skills in paramedic practice.
I teach on all years of the BSc Paramedic Science course, including theory and skills sessions.
